Your first checkbox is preliminary.
Before a booking is confirmed, Venera will provide a project-specific checklist based on the selected production system, wall, access and installation method.
1. Clear working space
- Provide the clear floor and wall-side working area stated in the pre-arrival checklist.
- Remove furniture, artwork, curtains, electronics, breakables and other obstructions unless Venera agrees otherwise.
- Keep children, pets, customers and other trades away from the controlled work area.
- Provide a clear path from vehicle access to the work area for equipment and materials.
2. Safe power
- Provide a safe, accessible and functioning electrical outlet within the distance confirmed by Venera.
- Do not rely on damaged outlets, overloaded power boards or unapproved extension arrangements.
- Venera will confirm any project-specific power, extension or safety requirements before attending.
3. Suitable wall or surface
- The intended surface must be stable, dry, clean and accessible.
- Disclose fresh paint, moisture, mould, flaking material, cracks, repairs, texture, unusual coatings or suspected hazardous material.
- Do not patch, paint or chemically clean the surface shortly before attendance unless the timing has been agreed.
- Venera may test the surface and may recommend preparation, another method or postponement where suitability is uncertain.
4. Access and permissions
- Arrange building access, parking, loading, lift bookings, inductions and permitted working hours.
- Obtain owner, landlord, body corporate, venue, brand and artwork approvals before work begins.
- Tell Venera about access restrictions, stairs, narrow entries, alarms, sensitive areas or other active work on site.
5. Hanging and fixing pieces
- Tell Venera the wall construction and any known concealed electrical, plumbing or structural services.
- Approve the proposed fixing position and method before installation.
- If you or another installer hangs the piece, use fixings suitable for the wall, product weight and environment and follow the supplied instructions.
6. If the site is not ready
Work may be paused or rescheduled if the area is unsafe, unsuitable or materially different from the information provided. Venera will discuss required preparation, changed scope and any proposed return-visit cost before proceeding. These requirements do not remove rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
